This page tells you a little about who we are.

Where are we?

The circuit reaches out from the city centre and is approximately bounded by the A625, Ecclesall Road, (which runs from Sheffield towards Castleton) and the A621, Abbeydale Road, (which runs from Sheffield towards Baslow).

Activities

All of the Churches in the circuit hold an act of Public Worship on Sunday mornings, usually at 10.30am.  Most of our Churches have a variery of other activites during the week and you will find details of those on the Church's own web-site - just follow the links on the left of this page.

Staff

We have six full time minsters and one part time minister. 

Robert Lewis is the Superintendent (Banner Cross), and the team is made up of Garry Dawson-Jones (Totley Rise and Dore), Rachel Downs-Lewis (Bents Green & Endcliffe), Francis Neil (Millhouses and Carterknowle) and Nick Jowett (Anglican Vicar - St. Andrew's Psalter Lane).

We also have a part-time project Leader for InspYre, our circuit Youth Work project - Judith Roberts.  Judith is also the chaplain to Southcroft, the Methodist Homes' sheltered housing scheme on Psalter Lane.

Finally, Judith Simms, our Circuit Administrator, keeps us all  on the rails!

Lay Leadership

The Circuit Stewards' team of John Lashmar, John Wilkins, Andrew Maxfield and Alison Gregg are kept busy providing leadership for the circuit and support for the ministers.

The staff and circuit stewards together make up a very happy, imaginative and productive leadership team.
